Types of transfer switch

Static Transfer Switches (STS)

Use advanced solid-state thyristors to monitor sources and transfer the load in less than 5ms, ensuring mission-critical equipment never experiences a reboot or interruption.

Manual Transfer Switches (MTS)

Require physical operator intervention to switch between power sources, resulting in a significant power interruption.

Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

Utilize electromechanical contactors to automatically switch sources upon detecting a failure, typically involving a 50–100ms power break.
